Maybe I did not read their dialogue closely enough, but I did not expect the Snail Shamans' ritual for Hornet to get the Everbloom from her memory to involve them sacrificing their own lives...

The ending after Act 3 with the Knight showing up to save Hornet makes me very happy. It's nice that there's something left of him, instead of having him turn back into undifferentiated void.
Imagine a family gathering, though.
Hornet introducing her, uh, aunts Lace and Phantom to her half-brothers Hollow Knight and Void. And the White Lady.
And then the little Void Knight holds up the skull/shell of the Pale King, because it's a *family* gathering, right?
I do wonder how much time has passed between Hollow Knight and Silksong. And about the tiny bit of lore Hornet reveals about the Hive when her needle is upgraded enough.
Did she consider the Hive already "fallen" after Vespa died, or did it decay completely between games, or what?
Either way, I guess the Hive did not recover and find a new queen between the two games.
Also, tiny Hornet is so stinkin' cute!!!
