You want to send a message to an aide - you have a wide variety of options.
She works for you, you can call her in.
You probably shouldn't be using Signal, but everyone in the administration is doing so, and it's quite secure.
You have whatever secure, government-supplied messaging system has been provided for you and your staff.
You can send a lacky with a note scrawled in Sharpie.
Or.. you can send a DM on your bespoke social network.

I previously thought this was atrociously bad UX, I now see it as a feature
@cwebber i thought so too, and was ready to dunk on Mastodon in my newsletter lol. but signed up with truth social to verify, and they've significantly revamped the UI around dms, so I think this was just Trump being stupid after all
