Tangentially it would be nice with a European alternative, and more "competition" would be healthy.
@zeyelth I think Slimbook is the closest European alternative. They’re based in Spain, and their laptops are upgradable, but they seem to recommend sending it to them to have upgrades done.
There’s also Tuxedo, which are based in Germany, and they have some instructions on how to service at least some of their systems on their website.
So it’s at least not a complete wasteland.

@frost Novacustom looks interesting. I wonder how well they handle thermal issues with higher end graphics. And they seemingly only offer Intel solutions, which is a bit odd considering AMD is generally both better and cheaper nowadays.
