If you are allowed to keep control of which specific actions you support without a hard requirement to support every tactical decision, it can be a good thing.
Say, a campaign to help support a clinic that serves young mothers in a ravaged neighbourhood.
A different kind of action, such as an electoral campaign to prop up one of their candidates (even if it's against the Nazis) that probably requires digging deeper.
@vruz Yeah, I am of the same mind. I see the multifaceted nature of things. The way I phrased my original post was probably not the most thoughtful - I guess the point I'm making is that I'm curious to meet others who are aware of or involved with the organization because I want to be in direct communication with other people in the US who are involved in progressive collective action, let's say. I am not that concerned with the DNC, perhaps needless to say at this point.
