@thisismissem personally I think "empathy" is a core engineering skill, but then again, as I've proved recently, I'm in the minority on that.

Have been discussing this article with a few engineers I'm in a group chat with and the consensus is it's a bit bait-y and vague, but could have some minor salient points
@Floppy I think it's also kind of indicative of how terrible focusing hiring on "10x engineers" is and how we've built an industry that hires in completely nonsensical ways.
@thisismissem oh hell yeah. I would never ever recruit anyone who seriously used the phrase "10x engineer", massive red flag.
My other thought on the article, which I don't *think* I saw mentioned, is that a "strong" engineer will be actively trying to make the bring the "weak" engineers with them and make them stronger while doing the magic.
@Floppy maybe only the case with juniors, but I think a "weak senior" is possibly unlikely to level up?
