#PennedPossibilities 807 — Have you ever written anything that falls within the genre of horror? If you haven’t, is it something you would be interested in doing someday?

Will you settle for an entire revisionist Lovecraftian horror-comedy-satire series (14 novels and about 100K words of short fiction)?

… Yeah, been there, did that! (The Laundry Files/New Management series.) So pivoting to do something different next.

@cstross As a Brit, it's been great reading The Laundry series. So relatable!

May I ask which actors, past or present, you could imagine in the main roles? For some reason every time Angleton enters stage left I can't help but imagine Ian Richardson in full Francis Urquhart mode

@cstross The Laundry series as a whole never really registered as horror for me (unless you count the UK civil service thing!), mostly comedy/satire.

And then there was Equoid, which did push that particular button.
