This Tom Björklund painting touches me much more than I could say. He made it to illustrate a paper in Science that relates the finding of the first ever known father-daughter pair of Neandertals, in a siberian cave.

A painting of a Neandertal father and his daughter. She sits on his shoulders. He seems to carry a wooden stick and holds his daughter's leg. They both have a very gentle expression on their faces.
