you see, rust is so efficient that it can use larger patch numbers, than ever before,
i would normally assume that allowing any version < 1 would be safe, but that patch version makes me nervous. what if they use minor like a major version
of course it's in the rust-lang org
the readme links to a version of spack-rs which does not use spack https://github.com/gdesmott/system-deps if i make this library work without identifying new reasons to despise cargo and the rust ecosystem then i will make an issue so we can unify the approaches
