@ccferrie @IBIKEDublin The whole light cycle might extend slightly but since the number of red light runs decreases, in heavy traffic it does not heavily impact traffic flow.

@ccferrie @IBIKEDublin will some drivers still run the line because they are willfully dangerous? Yes, but this is effective for a large portion of drivers and is far easier to accomplish than red light cameras. It can also be made to accommodate every light and not only those for which cameras are installed.
