Today I learned about Millennial Grey and I hate whoever coined the term

@farah My favourite hypothesis for the existence of "millennial grey" is that the whole world is saturated with the bright and frenetic noise of advertising, so people decorated their homes to be contrary to that.

@book It鈥檚 just a color. During 2008 - 2016 (?) people decorated their houses mostly with shades of grey. Apparently it鈥檚 not very well liked currently
@farah It sounds like the New Black鈩笍. Goes with everything.
This is interesting considering I'm just about to decorate my new apartment.
I've no idea what I'm doing. Grey, though... 馃
