OMG. I am kinda done with the crowd and schmoozing, but the Mik’mak-Acadian-Celtic band just started a jam piece with AC/DC’s “Thunderstruck” on guitar, mandolin and fiddle and now I have to stay to the end of the Kitchen Party.

@johannab excuse me just how am i supposed to go about my day knowing there's a mi'kmaq Acadian Celtic band but not knowing the name? I'm interested, if you can remember.
(It turns out "mi'kmaq band" search tends not to surface much music!)
@rndeon sorry just catching back up with the timelines . “Morgan Toney” was the performer listed in the program and there was not a lot of descriptive info. Found on Apple Music though!
@johannab thanks! that was actually the one hit i managed to get with my search terms, but assumed that wasn't the right one because it seemed like an individual rather than a band. That's what you get when you take things too literally. I will absolutely give more of a listen to them!
