AI Co-Hosts Are Going To Be All The Rage… Says GaryVee.

Gary Vaynerchuk (GaryVee) said in a recent interview on a podcast (Tiktok clip), that in the future, near future even, podcasts will have human and AI co-hosts. And what's more, the AI co-hosts are going to be an intellectual property play for the podcaster. Say What?! Honestly, Gary likes to make bold statements in the past. Say What?!

Honestly, Gary likes to make bold statements in the past. Not all of his “bets” have paid off. NFTs were definitely a bust, that’s for sure and he was all in on those.

But Why Not?

With AI taking the Internet and world in general by storm, why not AI co-hosts? I’m not saying it’s a bad idea, but I’m also not saying it’s necessarily a good one either.

The whole idea of having AI overtake podcasting is a bit of a stretch if you ask me.

Yes, there’s Inception Point AI, which makes 3000+ podcasts, about the stupidest subjects, a week all done via AI. But that’s clearly an advertising play and if you’ve listened to any of their shows, they really suck.

AI Does Has A Place In Podcasting

AI is good at somethings.

I’ll admit, I’ve used AI for intros, outros, and segment breaks when I couldn’t get a voice over artist involved fast enough.

But AI taking over podcasting or even being a co-host on a show seems farfetched to me.

Look, if I’m wrong, I’ll admit it. But I don’t think I am.

What do you think?

🎙 Podcasts & The Future of What’s Real 🎙 On this week’s New part 3 episode of The Jamie Kern Lima Show, I had a conversation with @GaryVee that you do not want to miss. 🤯 Gary shared why the future of podcasts might not just include human hosts - but AI-created co-hosts you can actually own as intellectual property. Imagine launching a show with co-hosts that don’t even exist… and one of them becoming more famous than you. 👀 He believes every one of us is now stepping into the intellectual property business. ⚡ Tune in to this powerful and insightful episode of The Jamie Kern Lima Show LIVE now on Apple Podcasts, YouTube, Spotify, and wherever you get your podcasts! 😊 #JamieKernLimaShow #TheJKLShow #JamieKernLima #YouAreWorthy #WorthyCircles

@seth No. People want to connect with other people, not robots. Although cocaine has been a nice co-host for some, if you know what I mean.
