The #UK regime is now having police restrict protests based on "cumulative impact" because nothing says democracy like preemptively silencing dissent.

With nearly 500 peaceful protesters arrested for holding signs, these new powers feel less like public safety and more like the tactical playbook of historical enforcers who weaponized "public order" to crush opposition.

When holding a placard becomes a police matter, the thin blue line starts looking distinctly brown.
