Threads now includes their long form text attachments to fediverse enabled posts. Gonna go login for the first time in a few weeks and try it out.

It worked! Basically Threads delivers it as a post coming from a server with a high character count. Looks like markdown is stripped but I’d need to do another test to be sure. I also forgot Threads has some kind of fediverse sharing cooldown where it won’t deliver to the fediverse for X minutes after being posted…
