@SilverSalmonAK I learned exactly two things during COVID. The most useful skill was how to make a good Old Fashioned. The other was how to tie a knot for knitting and crocheting that did not have ends to weave in.

@podfeet Hmmm...I'll check it out. Thanks! Maybe this old dog can learn a new trick!
On balance, I'd say a good Old Fashioned beats the knot. 😉
@SilverSalmonAK On the old dog front, I was 8 years old when I learned to knit. I learned this knot 57 years later.
@podfeet Our timelines compare almost exactly. I learned at 8 as well and now it's 55 years later.
@SilverSalmonAK Wow! We clearly should be friends. I’m into cross stitching too. Racing to complete a complex stocking before Christmas!
@podfeet I agree! I also enjoy cross stitch. And pretty much every other thready craft out there.
@SilverSalmonAK Even though I know it’s essentially paint-by-number, I find it so satisfying to see it grow.
@podfeet Black walnut bitters? Yummmm.
