While there has been a lot of coverage & discussion of the far right demonstration in London (and I accept that criticism for my own posts too), there have been other demos & counter demos around the country;

here is Ben Dickenson's account of the 'organised, noisy, stubborn kindness' in Newcastle that countered the angry toxicity of the Right.

And, unlike the London confrontation in Newcastle the Right were far outnumbered by their opposition.
