iPhone Mirroring seems to be broken for me. Running OSes 26.0.1 on Mac and iPhone. Anyone care to test for me to see if it works for them?

#OS26

iPhone mirroring saying “unable to connect to iPhone” with a few things listed that must be true, like WiFi and Bluetooth on. Has not now and try again buttons.

@podfeet I’m on iOS 26.0.1 on my iPhone and MacOS 15.7.1, and iPhone mirroring isn’t working for me, either. I figured it was because I wasn’t on Tahoe yet as I wait for updates to some software I use.

@macquilter Can you try doing it hardwired for me? That would eliminate the new phone as a root cause

@podfeet I did that, too. I really think the problem for me is that I’m not yet on Tahoe.

Got an answer already. Had to plug in wired, then go through the whole trust thing on the Mac. After that, it worked, even wirelessly. Could have been because of a new phone or the new OSes, but in any case, Apple should have suggested trying wired.

@podfeet That didn’t help me, but — again — I’m thinking it’s because I’m not on Tahoe yet.
