hmm, monopoly is propaganda par excellence.
why?
because it does not reflect reality at all even though the outcome might reflect it.
in monopoly there are zero costs asociated with owning stuff, which can easily outgrow income. ...4 players means any hotel has 1 guest every now and then, but costs constantly.
in reality its hard work to operate a hotel.
what is not shown is how capitalists get rich in reality. ...its via money printing

after 2008 it became clear that change will never happen top down. the capitalists are the elites and the printing continues to this day.
if we ever want change we have to stop using the money they can print.
...instead of "monopoly money" where the capitalist class has the monopoly on printing it to payroll us all to do what they want and buy the lion share of the fruits of our labour, we need to start using money they cannot print
@ildiavolorosso @matthewstoller @pluralistic On the other hand, in Monopoly there's universal basic income paid every time you go around the board, and even wealthy real estate barons get sent to jail.
