I taught some classes at EA. They were terrible. Always exploitive. Their employees were overworked and abused. Their games were frustrating because all they're focused on is extracting as much cash from users as possible. So this merger does not surprise me at all. It's more of the same. Don't buy EA games. They suck. They have always sucked.
Prediction:
a bunch of people will complain for a month or to, then keep using the games without any change
