These days I’m reading Service Model, by Adrian Tchaikovsky. I’d qualify it as a “Good Time SF” book.
It’s not the most scientifically accurate nor the most socio-technically plausible book on my shelf, but it’s not a big problem.
You’re following the adventures of (Un)Charles, a valet robot through a post-collapse world. You see the world from his robotic, judgement-less perspective.
It’s refreshing and pleasant. I’m happy to dive into it each night before bed!
