@jbz Ok, I frigging knew 2D fighters were pulling stunts like this, but wow it does me good to see it straight up confirmed and caught on camera with slow motion and someone with a whole lot more patience than me.

I don't think this game by a long shot is the only one to pull these stunts either.

Though nothing to me is as bad as that one boss in the Guilty Gear series (I think it was X2?) She has a special move that takes almost 2/3rds of your entire HP bar if you block it. (I read a claim that blocking makes it worse, but I'll assure you I tried not blocking and died horribly, so... yeah...) Also you can't dodge because it's "seeking" (hits you wherever you are on the screen.)

I started liking 2D fighters less around that timeframe.
