With 98.59% of the 1.6 million votes counted, the pro-European party of Moldovan President Maia Sandu is heading for victory.

Sandu's Party of Action and Solidarity (PAS) has 49.74% of the votes and the pro-Russian Patriotic Electoral Bloc 24.45%.
