@lauren O'Leary is *very good* at trolling for outrage inches in newspapers, but undoubtedly knows that neither of those proposals are actually legal—both of them would jeopardize aircraft safety and/or evacuation times. It's basically canny marketing (Ryanair's sole pitch is "yeah we're a bit shit, but we're VERY VERY CHEAP").
