People defending this for accessibility, this isn't it. I especially call out this model because it uploads data to Meta's servers likely correlating it to advertising profiles and uses facial recognition.
If you use a similar technology that isn't developed by Meta, works offline, doesn't store data, respects people's privacy, and is especially designed for assistive capabilities then that's a completely different topic. Obviously. Please stop the whataboutism.

Anyone wearing such or similar technology demonstrates clearly they do not understand consent or have no intention of respecting consent, and should be treated like the danger they represent to others.
