#ALERTA I'm hearing that a surge of hundreds of ICE / DHS vehicles have already been spotted in Portland as part of Trump's overnight essentially declaring war on the people of Portland.

Mainstream media reports from Portland indicate the local politicians are making an appeal for "peaceful" protests and generally ask for a return of respectability politics.
They mentioned some limp dick assed measures like "ICE can't arrest ppl in public buildings" which does nothing for the street abductions ICE prefers at times.
Fedi's own @alissaazar has excellent post taking the Portland electeds to task for this sudden interedt in lip service.
Portland's mayor centered the harm done to capitalism by ICEs presence when there's obviously a much much larger human toll.
