Today it's a mandatory digital ID card to prove you have the right to work but in the future you might have to use it to access the NHS, to rent or buy a home, or to access benefits.

@openrightsgroup Goalposts, once set, can be moved anywhere by those who wish to abuse the ends.
@openrightsgroup Why all the panic? We have ID cards in Portugal, it's great to deal with what would otherwise be tedious bureaucracy: tax returns, digital signatures, health service, voting - all very easy. Sorry, I really don't get what the big deal is.

Thats a lot of personal info to demand in exchange for adding my name to a list of people against mandatory digital IDs, and the reasons youre gonna give for why you need it are exactly the same as the ones theyre giving for their thing, as is "heres the full text of our privacy policy to make you feel safe enough to give us your info" so maybe take a look at that
