#Sewing
All this making #kimono out of rectangles (which consequently result in almost 0 wasted fabric) have got me thinking about other things I could make with rectangles and I saw a style I think will work for a top/overshirt that would work very well, either as a kind of sweatshirt or something lighter and flowing.

Of course, like kimono or haori, it’s not fitted. It’s loose.

The thing to keep in mind is how the underarms get sewn so the don’t rutch up or gather. I don’t have a serger, and I can see that finishing the seams - especially in the underarms will pose a problem. But a gentle curve at the underarms will definitely ease more easily #Sewing #kimono
