But also dude with four 486 laptops, gonna switch family to linux. Boot PCMCIA/USB/Knoppix CD!

SVLUG was having fun in Santa Clara by crashing the rollout of #Microsoft #Windows 98 in front of some big computer store. Windows people were lined up to buy the upgrade.
One linux fella was hustling the crowd, while we handed out CDRs, shouting,
"You get all this with linux! Now, you are probably asking yourself, how much will this cost me? Nothing! You pay nothing! How can we sell it for nothing? It's because of the volume we sell!"
