Anyone who agrees to this is not qualified to call himself or herself a journalist.
But I'm betting most Big Journalism orgs will go ahead and sign.

"If the facts don't fit the theory, (ignore and/or) change the facts." seems to be awfully relevant in the US these days.
@dangillmor as a journalist, I would absolutely sign that to get all the information I could, but then I would turn over the getting and distributing of the unauthorized information to one of my colleagues working for the same company. A journalist's signature may bind the journalist, but it doesn't bind his company. And I would get the company's lawyers involved and share everything with them because you know the company is going to challenge that in court if it's ever called. And the company will win because first amendment.

By now, it should be clear to everyone that democracy in the US has come to an end.
And due to extreme divisions in society, there will be even less potential for cohesion.

The job is just copy paste, find any random person (non-journalist) to do it and assign real journalists to proper reporting.
