the next piece of this puzzle are reader apps (with text to speech functionality). same as we have an assortment of podcatchers, but for native AP articles and integrating our social graph. and of course a way to pay writers for time spent with their articles.

@strypey Will it happen anytime soon though ? Last time I checked, all there was was a few blog articles, and a waitlist I subscribed to but with no early access given, and only newsletters.

It happened, officially, with the release of Ghost 6/0;

If you search for @index in your fediverse app, you'll find dozens of Ghost publications that have turned on ActivityPub syndication, but haven't yet customised their @handle.

But @index has been dogfooding since well before that, and others on Ghost.org were using it in the public beta stage.

@strypey Oh. So it's already possible to comment Ghost blogs from Fediverse accounts ? Is there an example ? https://activitypub.ghost.org/archive/ doesn't seem to be one of them (and see, the homepage still shows the "early access" thing).

I believe so, but I haven't tested this myself yet. I only just got my Ghost instance working and there is another container I need to get set up for the ActivityPub module.

I've @mentioned a bunch of Ghost accounts, but now that you mention it, I'm not sure if I've had a reply yet.
