The same goes for Colbert, Chris Gerhard, and any other moderately left comedian looking for an audience.
Come join me in the land of "everyone gets to eat and no one sleeps on the streets" and I'll put you back on TV.
@ajroach42 So, you're going to lure him out there and then fire him for not being inflammatory enough?
My first thought was to suggest you, but I'm not sure your infrastructure could handle a really famous person.
So I was thinking it'd be cool to convince one of the comedians to do a direct to bittorrent show.
@alienghic I ran the reliability team for a game with an average concurrent player base in the tens of millions.
Current NETV infra could support a few thousand concurrent viewers. For less than $5,000 and in an afternoon or two I could make us significantly more robust.
I'm not saying I could survive the slashdotting that Kimmel would bring without prepwork, but if I had a few days to get ready and get the house in order? Yeah, I could support a few million concurrent viewers.
@alienghic Sundog would be pissed, because I'd absolutely make him perform evil arcane magic, but we'd get through it.
