L.J.'s victorious sword-dance

So if you consume a lot of political news, you might know that one of the 300+ Korean workers dragged away in chains by #ICE from a #Hyundai battery plant in Georgia was a pregnant engineer. I just heard her speak to the media about conditions in detention and how terrified she was that something might have gone wrong with her baby under the extreme stress (thankfully, a checkup back in #Korea confirmed the fetus is doing fine). She's resolute and angry, and wants to sue the "land of the lawsuit" in her words. I wish her every luck and would like to congratulate the Trump admin for thoroughly burning bridges with Korea--there isn't a Korean, other than a tiny minority of contemptible lickspittles, who will be unmoved by her story, to say nothing of the deluge of literally hundreds of stories that will follow.

Like, President Lee Jae-myeong enjoys an approval rating of over 60% right now, but sign the kind of deal the U.S. is demanding right now and he'll lose at least half his ratings and his own majority party in the National Assembly will fucking impeach him. Not that he'll do it because he didn't win the Presidency by being a fool, but that's the national mood and I don't see it turning forgiving anytime soon.
