I was soooo excited to learn that with macOS Tahoe, we'd be able to change the color and icons on folders. I'd tried a couple of third-party apps to do this, and while they worked ok, they didn't show in the Finder sidebar. Guess what? macOS 26's colors and icons don't show in the Finder sidebar either. Why, Apple? Why??? 馃槩

@podfeet That鈥檚 a shame. I was hoping this would strike off one of the reasons I continue to use Pathfinder. The other two reasons are the ability to have a split finder window, and having solid bars of colour (rather than little tag dots), which help me colour code folders and files much better.
