I took this photo the same day the admin posted the AI 'Chipocalypse Now' image as a direct threat of sending the Texas National Guard into Chicago. This was fresh off of calling Chicago a killing field and so many other baseless justifications for the impending actions in the city.

I wanted to take a photo with the same back drop to highlight the absurdity of the administrations claims.

You may have seen this on reddit, where I shared it first. I gave it a mocking title based on some of Trump's previous rhetoric and received some criticisms from people on reddit. I think some of it was well meaning, and I understand that you can't make everyone happy.

There was also a loud chorus of faux anger from people whose other post history was mocking others for taking the "Chipocalypse Now" bait.

Given the discourse over recent events, it is very illustrative of the perceived monopoly on outrage. Calling out the president for inciting violence and making unconstitutional threats is "taking the bait", and posting a relatively benign photo to juxtapose reality against the AI 'bait' is erasing the plight of people who have suffered from gun violence and is billboard for white privilege.
