i think the performance issue i've been having for a very long time is related to the fucked situation with windows displaying the same buffer which is unfortunately an absolutely critical affordance for me and my brain

@hipsterelectron rhetorically, if you’re against having another computer do more work than the owner wants, are you also against serving a 302 on http to upgrade connections to https? Do you really just drown in email spam so the spammers don’t have to do more work?
