@span pluralistic It's very much an and/and rather than either/or for me. Seek systemic change, but at the same time minimize the power you give to your adversaries. Every $ I don't give to Amazon is a $ they can't use against us. And if I give it to a local bookstore instead, it'll help keep them alive until after the revolution.

But completely agree this is about power, and depends on what power you have. Not about morality and using it as a stick to beat other 'less virtuous' people with.
