Two takes on Trump's #BigTech dinner: White House says tech elites came to "pay tribute" to his leadership. Reality check? These billionaires funded his campaign - they're checking in on their investment, ensuring their executive director serves their interests. Who's really governing? Democracy or plutocracy? You decide.

Meanwhile, the EC fined Google €2.95 billion for abusing its dominant position in the advertising technology market, despite the threat of trade retribution from U.S President Donald Trump.

It hurts, but is still an acceptable cost of business, with Alphabet's annual ad revenues over €250 billion.

Watch the video of the bigtech-Trump meeting, how Don Trump and his techbros bring success to the US and the world, creating jobs(?) and so much good. You would almost forget about the #technofeudalism regime they're putting in place.
