I’m working on more moss embroideries right now, and also writing an article that will be published in Spring 2026 (I’ll share it then!).
Since I get easily burnt out doing the same thing over and over, I’m thinking about adding some variety. Maybe a tapestry, painting, stamp-making, or something else entirely. I might be headed towards making a sort of 'bonbon shop of art' instead of fully focusing on embroidery. Just creating small things that make life better.
Close-up of one moss embroidery in the hoop. The patch is a mix of soft green wool, textured stitches, and tiny details, resembling a tuft of moss with small white mushroom-like shapes growing from it.
An embroidery hoop holding four textured moss embroideries in different shades of green. Each circular patch is densely stitched and layered to resemble natural mossy mounds, with varied stitches and bead details. A needle and loose green thread rest nearby.
