@davemark Innovations aren’t usually products or even ‘features’. Often processes,materials or a feature very much more about the plumbing like https://security.apple.com/blog/memory-integrity-enforcement are the only true innovations.
We get pitched the moniker of ‘innovation’ when they can’t talk about something that would look to a layman like an invention. ‘Light bulb’ class invention is rare. (Always was even if it’s easy to look back at an era as being chock full of them.)
@davemark Damn. Increased optical zoom is actually the thing that might make me switch. iPhone 14ProMax is still too young (and great) to even think about upgrading . Hopefully they don’t ruin iPhone19.

@davemark yes, measuring battery life by video playback hours. Surely a 1 minutes 720p video stored on the device and with brightness and volume on minimum and airplane mode on.
