My New York food adventures.
Not very adventurous so far as I’ve been struggling with the time change (waking up at 8am is still 5am for me).
1. Friend gets a lot of leftover bagels from Good 2 Go (anti food waste / cheap leftover food app), so he made me a BEC (bacon egg cheese)
2. One of you here invited me to your home and fed me good salmon and NA beer
3. I like the Bluestone Lane location (Aussie coffee chain) by the Guggenheim. It’s a beautiful chapel. But I still think Bluestone Lane doesn’t live up to Aussie coffee, as a concept
3. After a meeting at the Met, I was walking to Burp Bowl for Chinese soup noodles but got super hungry. So I wound up at Suki Desu somewhere near Yorksville. Chirashi bowls with fresh fish. At the end they pour a good broth into your bowl to make a rice soup. I’m happy.
4. Going to check out a Cambodian coffee spot now then make my way back to Brooklyn.
5. Lots of homemade pastrami later
