Frogged!
I inherited a bunch of Really Old Wool (tm) and these knitted squares were inside one of the bags. There were enough to make a stretchy-ish cover for my pleather footstool that is disintegrating. But … the colours are not me. And it’s kinda uncomfortable under swelly crampy calves. So … #finishorfrogalong, number 4* now frogged.
I’ll wrap the balls in crappy overlock thread and learn to do temari. ‘Cos, you know, I really need another fiber hobby 😁
(Number three, also finished today, is a secret, but it’s been on my to-do pile for a long time).
Knitted squares in two colourways have been crocheted together with a pink and white crochet border. The green-white-black and pink-white-grey squares have been knotted either remnant yarns, 3-4 strands held together. The patchwork like fabric lies on a footstool where the plastic leather has cracked and in peeling badly.
A wooden bowl is piled high with hand-wound balls of wool - pink & white, pink& white & grey, and green & white & black.
The bowel sits on a cluttered cutting mat with a tapestry in the background, a couple of crochet hooks and an inkle loom beater.
