The big topic of conversation this weekend, as I’m gathering with others to celebrate Ryan Weaver’s life, has been around how the #PHP community communicates and keeps in touch these days. It’s a good question, and I don’t have a good answer.

@ramsey I only just heard of his passing. I had the pleasure of meeting him in person at a Drupalcon, and he was even more effective in person than on SymfonyCast, which is no mean feat. I knitted a cap for his (then) baby. May his memory be a blessing.
@ramsey I’m very sorry to learn the news about Ryan, he was far too young.
I remember seeing him at SymfonyCon Brussels in 2023. He was cheerfully chatting away to everyone on the SymfonyCasts stand during the day & did a fantastic, energetic talk.
