So, I was about to review a PR to add GoToSocial support to @IceCubesApp, but I guess I won't do it then.

This is completely baffling to have such "code of conduct" at the age of AI.
I won't waste any second of my brain cycle, or my AI cycle, on their network.

Good riddance.

@dimillian @IceCubesApp @rmoriz it‘s a pity most Mastodon-Compatible servers are so resource intense. I ran GoToSocial for my notification bots at social.enteypoint.sh on a very old OrangePI SOC without issues while my mastodon instance at vm.io is wearing out my NVMe (almost single user instance). Their hate against AI is short sighted. If I were an anticipatalist, I would burn thought every free tokens I get because it‘s VC anyways and built AGPL stuff.

if you were an anticapitalist you'd know that the goal of AI is to capture as much as possible of all interactions and all data that make society to alienate everyone to these companies, and that using them ateany amount legitimates them and is an ecocidal nightmare, so no, using it would be stupid. The end never justify the means, that's actually a capitalist mindset
