While the pledge is historic, clarity is needed on where to publish right now. Open Research Europe (ORE) already exists as a platform by the European Commission, but this new step is about scaling it into a collective, non-profit infrastructure with broad funder support. The excitement is real, but so are the practical questions of implementation and uptake.
