Singapore is already covered with signs like 'if 'women' online are promising you naked photos in return for gift cards / credits, it is a SCAM'

And the fraud situation is getting worse because of Meta

Also in ‘Singapore is so small’: in nearly every news story about Singapore, I know the people mentioned in or interviewed in the story. Lol. Thankfully not the Meta people (tho I’m certain I also know them).

After some elderly people lost their entire life savings there are some new plans to entire freezing of entire accounts. Almost like the ‘put a ban on my dad so he can’t go to a casino’ laws (yes we are a nanny state. At one point the government was even reimbursing people who lost money! Not anymore I think)

Using meta products is like being addicted to something. This is especially true in societies that run off Facebook like in SE Asia

Ultimately, if your dad wants to piss away his life savings on some fake person, what can you really do? That’s how clever a lot of this social manipulation is
