I love the concepts behind Redox OS, with its concepts of URL-style schemes to build upon the UNIX "everything is a file" concept. I also adore the choice of Rust and the attempt to keep components "Rusty". Yet, I cannot avoid feeling worried due to the project's choice of using the MIT license. It is already hard enough to keep developers from making the Linux kernel proprietary through Android, and looking at FreeBSD and its (mostly) proprietary fork XNU... its worrying...
