I picked up a cigarette packet on our walk today and was reminded of Francesca Saunders who founded People Against Litter (PAL).

For 20 years she ran a one-woman quest to get people to pick up #litter

Franscesca would ask people to sign up to be PALs and promise to pick up one piece of litter per day. We used to host her website.

Franscesca is retired now, but you can still be a PAL. Just pick up litter when you see it. One piece per day. More, if you want to.
