@cheeaun did you see my admin UI poll support PR? Had to explicitly make sure custom emojis worked there

Phanpy supports displaying. The only change in above-mentioned to-do list is making that `:` auto-suggestion works, together with the Custom Emoji picker button.

@thisismissem I see… server-side HAML… 🙈 — wouldn't it make more sense to use the existing React components? 😆
@cheeaun not hugely, I tried that originally and the experience wasn't great.
