Chinese firm Innoscience, founded by former NASA scientist Luo Weiwei, Innoscience has become the world’s largest dedicated GaN (gallium nitride) manufacturer, mastering mass production of 8-inch wafers—leapfrogging Western rivals.

Innoscience is both a commercial powerhouse and a strategic asset in the geopolitical tech war, even as U.S. restrictions loom.

China produces 98% of the world’s gallium and banned export to the US.

@yogthos There are three reasons for her return to China.

1. Chinese people in the USA are tired of being the racial kicking ball of US paranoia.
2. The Chinese government basically gave her a blank cheque and said "go do your thing".
3. She's a woman and likely got treated FURTHER like shit in the USA as a result.
