I’ve tried a number of different alternative social media over the years such as #VERO and #Cara. I love VERO’s format but couldn’t find many users to interact with. I tried it on & off for three years. I joined Cara in 2024 but may delete it soon. I think it would’ve been awesome if it were federated—a missed opportunity. I’m also glad I chose Mastodon over Pixelfed.
